School Daze

Well we are already three weeks into school and it has been a crazy year. We started to transition Jackson into a home-care daycare situation before I started back to school. After 3 really terrible weeks of separation anxiety (constant crying and vomiting), lots of prayer, and a long talk with our pediatrician we removed him from that situation. Mind you I had started school and we didn't have full time place (thank God for grandmothers), so after talking to LOTS of people we sought out Crowley First Church of the Nazarene and fell in love! We love the teachers, the place, and even more Jackson loves it. He has been going everyday for the past two weeks and doing really well. He is in a class with 3 other children and seems to be thriving. We are truly thankful that we found such a loving place for Jackson to stay while we work.

Jackson is getting into EVERYTHING! We are having so much fun listening to him "talk", try to walk, and learn new things. He currently has 6 teeth and seems to be getting 2 more. At his 9 month check up Jackson was nearly 30 inches long and nearly 23 pounds, we are in the 95th percentile for all of the above! Where did we get this big boy?

We are getting ready for all the fun Fall events that are coming up! We will be celebrating our cousins/nephews first birthday, our first Halloween, Jackson's first birthday, and SO much more! This is going to be a very busy Fall for us, we are hoping to be able to keep up with blogging and will try our best.

Here are some pictures from the first day of school, our recent visit to the park near our house, which we will be making many more trips there once the weather cools off and one from our first North Crowley football game.
